DepartmentID Managed Property - Breaking change

We are currently aware of an issue that is affecting SharePoint search. It is relation to the out of the box managed property DepartmentID. The managed property is no longer returning results when queried.
Currently, this is impacting: Content Creation, Universal Web Part with search as the data source, potentially Azure Funcitons, Navigation Management, and Multilingual.
If your customers are impacted by this please lodge a ticket with Microsoft from the customers tenant.

Expected availability of fix¶
Fixes shipped for Valo Intranet 3.1 and 2.3.
